if it is, wouldn't you have bigger issues? My thoughts are that it's there for any blow-by that could build pressure in the engine and possibly blow out seals. So any possitive pressure is vented to the intake. I would think it should be such a small amount compared to what the engine is pumping that there wouldn't be any affect one way or the other.
